Objective

  • To promote and arrange extracurricular activities to bring out the talents of students in performing the arts.
  • To develop team work, organizing skills among the students.
  • To create interest on their hobbies rather the routine curriculum and desire satisfaction, relieve from them from stress and fatigue.

Functions of the Co-Curricular Activities Cell

  1. To give them an opportunity to develop their specialized skills.
  2. To bring social skills, moral values, personality progress and character appeal in.
  3. To make the students fit for the future time and to develop a sense of competitive spirit, co-operation.
  4. To give students opportunities to be active in their communities and to take their learning beyond the classroom.
  5. To improve students’ self-esteem. Oftentimes, this can have a positive impact on performance in the classroom.
  6. To manage their time effectively, prioritize among different competing commitments, and creative problem-solvers.
  7. To maintain the database of the students for all kind of references.
  8. To improve the assessing process of the students.

  2. It encourages the students to participate in a variety of competition.
  3. We have a dedicated trainer who instills a spirit of healthy competition among the students.
  4. With the ultimate motto of helping the students achieve an all-round growth and performance, the college offers a judicious of academics in a unique way.
  5. Room Facilities to accommodate 75 Students each for conducting written test for students
  6. Dedicated rooms for conducting group discussions and AC seminar halls

Roles & Responsibilities of Co-Curricular Activities Committee.

  • The aim of curricular activities is to make the students fit for the future time and to develop a sense of competitive spirit, co-operation, leadership, diligence, punctuality, and team-spirit as well as to provide a backdrop for the development of their creative talents. Whenever someone is chosen as a head boy or is given leadership in certain matters, it boosts self-confidence and sense of achievement.
  • Additional activities for students are a means to enhance social interaction, leadership, healthy recreation, self-discipline and self-confidence. Competitions may also be organised to create a competitive environment and groups with an objective to work towards a better society and the world as well.
  • Some tasks require precision, management and organizational and such activities provide training to prepare students for the outside world.
  • Such activities divert student's attention from harmful activities like drugs, crime etc. It channelizes their energies in fruitful activities.
  • Success in organizations requires more than high intellect. Thus, college recruiters commonly examine job candidates' Co-curricular activities in search of well-rounded, emotionally intelligent, and interpersonally skilled students. Intuitively, Co-curricular activities are like valuable student experiences.
Convenor:
  1. The committee meetings periodically to have an effective planning of, co-curricular activities incorporated to make it transparent.
  2. Get the approval from the principal the guidelines of framing
  3. Coordinate with the members in taking the inputs from departments.
  4. Discussing with the committee members and finalising the formats
  5. Ensures that 2nd priority will be given to hobby clubs as they have to have competitions within the class and department. 2 hours/periods are good to get some good time.
  6. Ensures members’ priorities are considered.
Co-ordinator:
  1. Conducted a meeting in a manner that is consistent with the approved co-curricular activities.
  2. Conducted meeting regarding whether the resources that are available enough or not.
  3. Reviewed after every offering by reflecting on student and peer feedback for the purpose of improvement.
  4. Modified, if appropriate, in response to its routine review.
