Overview

ABOUT DEPARTMENT

The Department of Humanities was established at the inception of the college in 2008. The department has qualified and experienced faculty. The Department has two well-equipped laboratories such as Chemistry and Physics and accommodates 60 students at a time and covers 28 experiments. The laboratories have all the necessary infrastructure not only to train the students as per the curriculum, but also to meet the requirements of Research and Consultancy activities.

Dr. A.SHAREEF, completed his Post Graduation in Master of Sciences (Applied Mathematics) from Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur in the year 2005 in first division.
Started the research career from January, 2010 at Rayalaseema University , Kurnool “Finite Element Analysis on Heat Transfer Flows “ in the domain of Fluid Mechanics. Published research work in various Journals in which 5 are in Scopus Indexed, 3 Web of Science and others are in under Non-Scopus Journals. Attended International Conferences (3), National Conferences (2), FDPs (10) Got the PhD degree in 2023. Dr. A.Shareef is having more than 18 years of experience in teaching / research. Research Areas of Interest are Heat transfer flows, fuzzy logic.

This Lab is equipped with Spectrometer-Diffraction Grating, Travelling Microscope – Newton’s Rings, Verification of Faraday’s Laws, Laser – Diode, Tensional Pendulum, Compound Pendulum etc.

This Lab is equipped with Digital -Spectrophotometer, Digital Conductivity Meters, Flame Photometer, Redwood Viscometers, digital calorimeter, Bunsen burner, Pensky Marten’s Flash & Fire Point Apparatus, Electrical Balance, Distillation Unit, Digital pH Meters etc.

3 ELCS & AELCS Lab

The main aim of this lab is to improve Communication Skills in formal and informal situations. It is also to impart training to students through the syllabus in its theoretical aspects and practical components. The lab is equipped with Advanced Systems which has high quality audio & video capabilities.

4 IT Workshop Lab

The IT Workshop is a training lab course to get training on PC Hardware, Internet &World Wide Web,and Productivity tools for documentation, Spreadsheet computations, and Presentation.
To introduce to a personal computer and its basic peripherals, the process of assembling a personal computer, installation of system software like MS Windows,Linux and the required device drivers, hardware and software level troubleshooting process.
