ABOUT DEPARTMENT

The Department offers a full time Post Graduate M.B.A. programme affiliated to JNTUA, Anantapur governed by AICTE. management department at ASHOKA WOMEN’S ENGINEERING COLLEGE is noted for its consistent contributions towards the various fields of management, ranging from human resources to marketing to finance. The students are given in-depth theoretical training as well as practical exposure so that they can become indispensable assets to whichever organization they are working for.

VISION:

To establish an institutional culture for education, research and innovation to achieve sustainable impact on society and to become a globally recognized centre of excellence in the area of management by building managerial competencies among the students and making them global business leaders. Further the department aspires to prepare them to become visionary leaders with new perspectives, thinking, and ideas.

PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES (PEO’s):

PEO1: To equip the students with fundamentals of management theory and its application in organizational process.

PEO2: To enhance conceptual and practical knowledge of students in the field of Business Management.

PEO3: To adapt to a rapidly changing business environment with new skills and competencies.

PEO4: To inculcate a strong team spirit with positive bent of mind and high level of enthusiasm and commitment to meet the challenges in organization.

ABOUT DEPARTMENT

Department of MCA was established in 2021. The department offers 2 Year MCA program and the students are admitted through AP-ICET. The annual intake is 60 students. Each class room equipped with a projector. The program ensures that the students effectively meet highest benchmark of competence required by the IT industry.

To enable Women Students to achieve excellence in computational skills embedded with human values.

MISSION:

To acquire the technical competence for developing innovative solutions and new applications in computer science, there by transforming them as better professionals.
