ABOUT DEPARTMENT

Department of MCA was established in 2021. The department offers 2 Year MCA program and the students are admitted through AP-ICET. The annual intake is 300 students. Each class room equipped with a projector. The program ensures that the students effectively meet highest benchmark of competence required by the IT industry.

Mrs.V.SUJATHA completed her Post Graduation in Master of Computer Applications from Annamacharya Institute of Technology and Sciences, Rajampet,JNTUA., in the year 2007 in first division with distinctionand Post Graduate in Master of Technology completed from Kottam College of Engineering,JNTUA , Kurnool in the year 2013 with distinction got first place in JNTUA.

She is having more than 15 years of experience in teaching . She is currently working as HOD and BOS Chairman in the Department of MCA at ASKW(Autonomous) kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, She is also worked as Co-Ordinator of Anti-Ragging Committee at 2012 and worked as PG Admissions Incharge and Sub-Co-Ordinator of Fee Monitoring Committee, Coordinator of Women’s Grievances and Redressal. Research Areas of Interest are Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Software Testing and Data Science. Attended Online courses,Seminars,Workshops,International and National Conferences , FDPs .

PEO’s Description
PEO1 To gain knowledge and proficiency for analysis, design and problem solving, to have a successful career in industry and for higher studies.
PEO2 To promote application of technical knowledge coupled with project management abilities.

PO’s PO Name Description
PO1 Engineering Knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.
PO2 Problem Analysis: Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.
PO3 Design/Development of Solutions: Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.
PO4 Conduct Investigations of Complex Problems: Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.

Equipped with DELL latest configured DESKTOP PC’s with licensed software that enables the students to program in C language. It covers various concepts of C programming language, searching and sorting algorithms, stacks and queues. It gives Ability to develop C programs for computing and real-life applications using basic elements like control statements, arrays, functions, pointers and strings, and data structures like stacks, queues and linked lists.

This lab provides knowledge on data pre-processing, Classification, clustering and Association rule extraction. It deals with the various types of attributes. Accuracy is compared by using different algorithms. Visualization is also displayed for the given data mining functionality.

The main aim of this lab is to improve Communication Skills in formal and informal situations. It is also to impart training to students through the syllabus in its theoretical aspects and practical components. The lab is equipped with Advanced Systems which has high quality audio & video capabilities.
